| Provide a brief description of the purpose and goals of this project. | The purpose of the study is to learn about currently enrolled undergraduate students' academic and social engagement at Cornell. Cornell conducts this survey every other year. COFHE member institutions will participate in this year’s survey administration. We will examine whether and how the undergraduate experience differs for selected subsets of Cornell students (based on sociodemographic characteristics and college affiliation) as well as between Cornell students and students enrolled in peer institutions. |
| Describe the population of interest (e.g. first year students, graduate students), sample size, and your method for selecting the sample. | A randomly-selected sample of three-quarters of currently enrolled undergraduate students will be invited to participate in the survey. This survey is also being conducted at peer institutions. |
