Incoming Freshman Surveys

Since 2000, Cornell has surveyed its incoming class of first-year students. These surveys ask new students about their high school activities and achievements; personal goals, attitudes and abilities; and expectations of their Cornell experience.

2016 New Student Survey

A total of 2,869 first-year students participated in the 2016 New Student Survey, yielding a response rate of 86%.
